Description

How to play world of warcraft.





1. Install a retail copy of World of Warcraft.



Run the official "InstallWoW.exe" file you downloaded, the link is found in the discription of the torrent,
but there is also an english version in the torrent. 

Please make sure that the "Wrath of the lich king" option is used when you start downloading. This will
install WoW to a location of your choice.

Your copy of WoW will update to whatever patch the offical servers use. If a newer patch than 3.0.9 is available, do not
let it update any higher.

If you prefer you can use patch mirrors to download the files manually and apply them yourself.



2. Edit or download your realmlist.



Browse to your World of Warcraft installation directory and edit the file "realmlist.wtf" with a text editor
like NotePad on Windows or VI on linux.

Change the contents of the top line to: "set realmlist wow.worldofopportunities.net". Do not touch the bottom
line.

If you don't want to change the file yourself, the file is included in this torrent just follow the instuctions below.




Copy/paste the "realmlist.wtf" file located in this torrent to "C:Program FilesWorld of
WarcraftDataenUS" 

This is assuming that WOW is installed at the default location, when asked if you would like to replace the existing
file click "yes"





3. Create your site / ingame account.



Now you have to register an account on the website. You will need only one, but you can create more additional accounts
(e.g. if you want to play both horde and alliance).

4. Read the rules.



Everthing is setup and ready to go, but before you do now is a good time to read the rules. This should help everyone
know where they stand.





5. Sit back, and play!



Keep in mind do not to use the Launcher.exe, just start the game with WoW.exe (located at "C:Program FilesWorld of
Warcraft") 

This is because the launcher may try to update your client even more.
